Agentic AI at VT MADE Manufacturing Day
IMMPACT Lab presented its work on Agentic AI for Manufacturing at the VT MADE Manufacturing Day event.

Dr. Saha co-chairs AESCAPE 2026
Dr. Sourav Saha successfully co-chaired AESCAPE 2026 in Dallas, Texas—the first conference of its kind on mechanics and agentic AI.
Research funding
NSF support for the next generation of manufacturing
Two NSF-funded projects totaling $1.3 million bring together Iowa State University, the University of Illinois Chicago, and Virginia Tech to advance agentic AI for manufacturing. The collaboration will build on Dr. Saha’s agentic world model, connecting an understanding of manufacturing physics with AI reasoning and decision-making to support intelligent manufacturing systems.
